Celebrating 50 Years of Ministry in 2011

Thank you to Steve Streibig, Director of Sevier County Food Ministries for attending the 2012 annual congregational meeting where the Our Savior Lutheran Church Foundation was able to present a check for $1000.00 towards their ministry as they work to serve the needs of Sevier County. We give thanks for this opportunity to share in their ministry.

As a part of our 50th anniversary celebration, these banners were made to focus on areas of our ministry and our history.  We thank Lois Tustison who handcrafted the banners and to the committee for the idea to do the banners.   Excellent addition to our Fellowship Hall area of the church.    Each month we have worked to collect 50 of certain items of need such as school supplies, socks, $5 bills for Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic along with fun things like our 50 favorite hymns and more.  By the breath of the Holy Spirit we have been able to far exceed our goal of 50 each month and for this we give thanks.   We welcome you to be a part of our ministry!  All are welcome. We are Called as God’s People, Equipped by the Holy Spirit and Sent to boldly proclaim the love of Jesus Christ to all people!  If you would like to know more about our church email us here!
