Choir

The choir of Our Savior Lutheran Church is a small, but talented group of men and women who sing to God’s glory in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We are accompanied by our wonderful organist, Deborah Cain. The choir usually doesn’t sing in the summer months, but this summer, we invited all the members and visitors who wanted to sing, (irregardless of musical ability), to join us to sing one Sunday in June, July, and August. The “Make a Joyful Noise Singers” were well received by the congregation and the participants.

Music is very important in our church, and it is obvious that the OSLC choir enjoys what they do. Kathy Cole is the choir director, and she loves her job, also. The only requirement for singing in our choir is that you are able to sing on pitch. Our anthems range from traditional hymns, to praise music, to gospel, to contemporary Christian music.
The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at the church at 5 pm and before the Sunday worship service at 9:15 am. These rehearsals usually last about 45 minutes.

If you love to sing and would like to join us, please contact Kathy Cole or Pastor Kroninger. We would love to have you join us!
